Cosplaying Crowley!

Black clothing. Steel gray tie. Bad attitude. Crowley is the King of Hell for good reason, and I get to dress up as him!

To help make a dent in the overwhelming prospect of having to have three different costumes for my first cosplay, I decided to get one early and dress up as Crowley for Halloween.

Step one for me was to then take a look at Crowley, figure out what he wears most often, and then write a list of items that I would need to make that outfit.

Crowley is the easiest of my cosplays to do because I didn't have to make anything for this costume.

Let's look at Crowley's most common outfit:

He basically just wears black. A Nice black suit, a gray tie, and that's it.

So, I needed:

__Black Suit
__Black Dress Shirt for the suit
__Black Shoes
__Gray Tie

My friend and I decided to do the "female versions" of these characters, that way we don't have to paint on beards and Five O'clock shadows on our faces.

I made a few stops at Goodwill, and ended up not getting a suit but a dress shirt, dark gray skirt, shoes and the tie. By doing this, I am still recognizable as Crowley, but I made it my own a little bit too.

Here is how it turned out for Halloween:

I just need to work on my "Crowley-face"

For Anime Boston I am not going to wear the horns, and I have a red and black wig that I will use (though I am still debating on that part).

In the picture I am also wearing a pin that says "Vote for Crowley, King of Hell" because I thought that would make me more recognizable as Crowley.

I might make a few more changes, and I will be sure to post the final results before anime Boston!
