Cosplaying Crowley!

Black clothing. Steel gray tie. Bad attitude. Crowley is the King of Hell for good reason, and I get to dress up as him! To help make a dent in the overwhelming prospect of having to have three different costumes for my first cosplay, I decided to get one early and dress up as Crowley for Halloween. Step one for me was to then take a look at Crowley, figure out what he wears most often, and then write a list of items that I would need to make that outfit. Crowley is the easiest of my cosplays to do because I didn't have to make anything for this costume. Let's look at Crowley's most common outfit: He basically just wears black. A Nice black suit, a gray tie, and that's it. I have never made my own costume. Not really. The most I have done is fit bits and pieces together for Halloween, the best of which was a werewolf costume I put together in college. (Werewolves are my favorite monster!) My werewolf costume in college. When my friend suggested that I go to Anime Boston with her, I was delighted. It was a chance to be crafty, to experience something new, and a new nerdy thing I could get into. I was going to learn how to Cosplay.  For those unfamiliar:  What is Cosplay: It is the act of dressing up as a character from a book, video game, show, or anime/manga.
